We had the pleasure of being Kenzie and Clayton’s wedding coordinators, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast bringing their dreamy vision to life. From the get-go, these two were clear about what they wanted—the perfect blend of moody elegance and intimate romance.
When it comes to Wedding Coordination, we offer a package called “Wedding Management” which gives our couples access to our team for questions the moment they book. While they are still in charge of their own design & planning, we are available and ready to help them troubleshoot logistics, timelines and floor plans. Of course, we also offer Full Service Planning for anyone who doesn’t want to spend 300 hours planning a wedding!
Cause We Can Events was seriously the BEST! Cannot stress that enough. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and I am certain had there been any last minute emergencies they would have handled it with ease!

Cozy Ceremony in the Ivy Courtyard
The ceremony was like a scene from a romance movie—rain was lighting tapping the top of the tent and the aisle was lined with gorgeous wild grasses and flowers. Kenzie looked absolutely breathtaking in her silk gown and Clayton, sharp in his black tux. Their vows? Pure magic, with lots of laughter and not a dry eye in the room!
Our team was on point, making sure everything flowed seamlessly from “I do” to the reception. While everyone was enjoying the ceremony, we made sure to light candles in the reception room, make sure catering and bar were ready for cocktail hour and had the DJ cue up his music.
Planner Tip: We’ll always have a drink ready for you right after the ceremony so be sure to let us know what your favorite cocktail or mocktail is!

Laughter, tears, and heartfelt toasts filled the air during the reception, telling the story of Kenzie and Clayton’s epic love. Behind the scenes, we were prepping for the next step in the timeline —coordinating vendors, keeping everything on schedule, all to make sure the couple had the time of their lives without any stress.
This reception decor was so perfect for the venue. A moody, romantic feel with some delicate touches when it came to the florals. Nothing is more romantic and cozy than real candles during a wedding dinner and we had plenty here.
Sweet treats and dance moves
As the night wrapped up, Kenzie and Clay cut their wedding cake, shared their first dance and guests hit the dance floor! The Surf Hotel has a really cool disco ball you can rent as part of your package and it is definitely worth it!
Right in the heart of Buena Vista, surrounded by nature’s beauty, Kenzie and Clayton’s moody romantic wedding was a dream come true. Getting to be a part of their journey and putting together a day that perfectly captured their one-of-a-kind love? Total honor.
