This fun Canadian couple came to us because they wanted a planner who was able to transform a country club into a modern boho oasis with an epic party.
That’s exactly what we did! With hanging floral clusters above the reception table and lounge vignettes around the space, we made this large golf course feel intimate for their wedding. For the design we wanted a mix of boho and modern with a little colorful palm springs flair!
Ceremony in the country club
While our style of weddings rarely has 4 walls, we were open to transforming the country club into a semi-outdoor ceremony oasis. With the chuppah beautifully decorated with bougainvillea, the altar as a whole took place on the balcony overlooking the golf course and mountains while guests were seated indoors protected from the desert sun.
When is the best time to have a wedding in Palm Springs?
We wanted to take full advantage of the great Palm Springs weather so cocktails and dinner were held outside. We created a boho lounge area and bar for guests to enjoy with the bride and groom took photos. A lot of our couples ask what is the best time to get married in Palm Springs? The answer is pretty much any time except summer when it’s 100+ degrees.
This wedding took place in October and we did have some strong winds so while the temperature was perfect, you may want to consider your place settings and floral arrangements if you’re planning during their windy season.
