Intimate Weddings at Sanctuary Farms
Sanctuary Farms is a dream come true for couples seeking an intimate wedding experience. If you envision a cozy gathering of your closest friends and family, this is the place to make it happen. The venue is a blank canvas when it comes to designing a wedding. When I first toured this venue I was amazed at all the beautiful spots around the property where we could host a ceremony and reception.
To really enjoy this venue to its fullest, you’ll want to keep your guest count fairly small. While I think 100 guests could certainly fit, I think keeping it closer to 50 would be a dream. Image your ceremony under the large oak, followed by cocktail hour in the pasture and a beautiful reception under a tent in the meadow. Yes please!
Onsite Accommodations
One of the standout features of Sanctuary Farms is its onsite accommodations. The venue offers comfortable lodging in the Main House as well as the The Cabin which was built in 1806 and is the original Carter House Cabin. What a great way to allow you and your guests to enjoy the celebration without the hassle of transportation! You and your wedding party can relax in the well-appointed accommodations, creating a sense of togetherness that adds to the overall charm of the experience.
The light that comes into the cabin and main house is also perfect for getting your hair and makeup done. Those getting ready photos will be incredible!
Horse Sanctuary
Sanctuary Farms takes the wedding experience to another level by allowing you to be surrounded by horses. The venue’s picturesque landscape is home to a variety of horses, adding a touch of enchantment to your day. Imagine exchanging vows with these magnificent animals as witnesses, creating a magical and unique backdrop for your wedding photos.
As an add-on you can request to have a horse drawn carriage bring you to and from your ceremony. This is such a fun idea and a great way to get unique photos.
Rental rates and Amenities
Sanctuary Farms’ rental rate start at $7,500 for the whole weekend. This includes access to the grounds for your ceremony and reception as well as a stay in the main house and cabin for the full weekend (Friday – Sunday). *These rates are subject to change.
Like any good wedding venue there are a few rules that need to be followed such as:
- 10:00 pm curfew
- Presence of a security guard
- Basic House Rules
- Licensed bartender
