If you’re new to our blog, welcome! We’re adventurous wedding planners based in Nashville and Maine who love travel to remote locations to produce events and weddings. Sometimes we do large festival-style weddings in the Utah desert and other times we do intimate winter weddings in Maine.
Fresh snow and a crackling fireplace are the perfect ingredients for the winter season. We thought we would bring this feeling to life through a wedding day! Once again, you are joining us in Maine for another intimate celebration. I can’t wait to share this cozy cottage winter wedding at Camp O-At-Ka with you.
Winter Wedding Stationery
One of my favorites parts of this design is the pop of orange tones. With actual dried orange pieces and seasonal florals, this is a wonderful way to add some color to a winter wedding. The modern stationery looked beautiful in detail photography with these elements.
Tip from a wedding planner: want to elevate your invitations? Add in a map of your venue! Especially for more remote or large locations, your vendors and guests will appreciate this. It also makes for a really cool piece of art in your home after the wedding.
Winter Florals
The florals are where the color palette really begins to shine! This lush greenery with bright orange and pinks still has our planning team swooning. There is something so special about the mix of the white snow and natural stone at the venue with these floral designs! The bridal bouquet tied in winter elements with the addition of some dried branches.
Romantic Couple Photos
For a winter wedding in Maine, there is no need to pick between the forest and the beach! This couple posed between the winter trees and then adventured to a snowy beach. How lovely are there outfits? Velvet is a winter wedding trend we think is here to stay. With the bride’s vintage inspired gown, this pair was picture ready.
Intimate Reception Table Decor
What’s an easy way to add dimension to your wedding design? Don’t remain too structured! We love created complimentary tablescapes that aren’t exactly the same. We created two intimate tablescapes for this winter wedding in Maine.
Outdoor Tablescape
For this outdoor set up, we allowed the design to be more organic. Simple layered place settings with personalized name cards and and oversized floral garland ended up being just the right amount of decor. With this dreamy linen paired with the outdoor fireplace and forest landscape, this tablescape was complete!
Cozy Fireplace Tablescape
Do you feel like you are in a cozy cottage? The warming fireplace and stone at the indoor space inspired us! A farmhouse table, romantic candles, and elegant place settings created this design. I can’t get enough of these gold stamped menus!
