Euphoria Wedding Inspiration at The Wedge Building in Nashville

Posted

In between weddings, our planners still find a way to be creative! I met up with a dream team of local Nashville vendors for a Euphoria styled-shoot. I, Gabby, am based in Nashville so it was nice to get together with other wedding vendors to create something just for fun! Like many of you, I couldn’t stop watching the popular show earlier this year (let’s talk about Season 2 on Instagram). As a wedding planner, the fashion, makeup, and sense of creativity stood out to me! I couldn’t help but wonder how the show’s style would translate to weddings.

Our shoot was featured on AislePlanner and you can read about how I use their amazing platform to plan our real weddings as well as our styled shoots!

This styled photo shoot took place in the springtime so you will see influences from the season along with themes from the show. I’ll also be giving you a mini-virtual tour of the venue this all took place at – The Wedge Building! Whether you are looking for inspiration for your big day or are searching for your Nashville wedding venue, keep reading.

Let’s take a look at this Euphoria wedding inspiration at the Wedge building in Nashville together!

The Wedge Building

The Wedge Building is an indoor industrial venue space. There is a coffee shop and art gallery next door so this venue is definitely for all of the artsy, creative couples out there! It is an open space ready to transform into your vision. The venue is a bit more intimate while still providing plenty of room for all of the traditional wedding events from the ceremony to the reception.

This space was perfect for this styled shoot because the vendors and I focused on creativity! We all challenged ourselves to take inspiration from the show Euphoria and our own spin on it. Of course, while following the general mood board we all worked together on starting on Pinterest. Take a look at the blank space below!

Invitation Suite

How cute is this invitation suite? We decided on a mix of different fonts and colors to ensure that the invitations weren’t too uniform. I love the printed floral design detail! Didn’t Gabrielle von Heyking do a fantastic job creating this flat lay photo? Gabrielle also captured this entire day!

Makeup & Outfits

The makeup in Euphoria is practically a character itself. The makeup plays an important role in representing each character’s unique style and emotion. The same idea can be applied to a wedding look! For the makeup and the outfits, we went with bold, out-of-the-box looks that are modern and trendy.

Ceremony Decor

If there is one aspect of your wedding you can keep minimal without sacrificing your aesthetic, it’s the ceremony. The first step is making sure you love the ceremony space before anything is added. The bright windows and industrial interior at The Wedge Building stood strong on their own! The addition of some colorful florals by New Mood Floral added that pop of color and texture needed for the ceremony. We added some clear acrylic chairs to complete the look.

By the way, I filmed all of the behind-the-scenes from this day on my YouTube Channel! Be sure to watch the video below for even more details after reading this blog:

Table Decor

The table decor is where you can see this palette shine. Can you spot the repurposed ceremony florals? Creativity was truly woven into this day! The dried floral place cards on each colorful place setting also make perfect guest favors. I still can’t decide what my favorite part of this tablescape is.

Desserts & Drinks

Remember the carnival in season one of Euphoria? We had to include some cotton candy for this wedding inspiration. The cotton candy even dissolved beautifully into a sparkly champagne drink. Then, we included the classic wedding cake decorated as a piece of art. I hope you enjoyed reading all about this Euphoria styled shoot!

Are you planning your own creative wedding day? Let’s chat! We would love to hear about your story and your unique vision for your big day.
