Gabby’s Bachelorette pt. 1 – Palm Springs

Let's just say that a Las Vegas bachelorette party isn't really my thing. My idea of the perfect bachelorette party looks a lot like cottage-ing, pool parties, cheese platters and some fancy cocktails with my favorite girls!

Lucky me, this is exactly what we did! the girls did such a good job turning this AirBnB in Palm Springs into our own little bachelorette oasis. We had home cooked meals, yummy cocktails, bachelorette-appropriate pool floaties and the sweetest little favors for every girl.

We had such a blast. Thank you to all the ladies who made it out to the desert! We did go out to a Drag Show on Sunday night and we danced until the bar lights came on but we all agreed to leave the valuable cameras at home for that party!

Since half of my friends live on the East Coast, that meant that I got to have ANOTHER bachelorette party out there! That blog post is coming next 🙂

Thank you Andi Buescher for all of these amazing photos and Shaunda for the decorations and delicious food!

Thanks Anna! Hahha yeah I love Vegas in small doses but it’s just not my thing for a bachelorette weekend!

ah!!! What a fun party!! I totally agree with you, Vegas is NOT my ideal bachelorette party (since I’ve been engaged for 3 years I still have plenty of time to plan it, HA!). I love the quiet, sweet, fun and intimate nature of this party. It is so nice to get back to basics and not focus on one-upping other peoples crazy parties!!! Happy engagement lady!

haha hey there’s nothing wrong with a 3-year engagement 😉 Simple bachelor and bachelorette parties are the best. We got to really hang out with each other, catch up, unwind, eat and drink as much as we wanted and gossip a ton!

Thank you! I think it’s good to share with other brides-to-be that your friends don’t have to throw you the wildest party that costs a fortune. Even renting a cute little AirBnB somewhere nice and getting good food and drinks can be just as fun!

This looks like it was such a blast! I love that you chose to do something that would be fun for you and your girls, instead of the stereotypical bachelorette party. Plus, I’m sure that you were able to spend a lot more quality time with them this way!

Exactly! We had some girls that were from Northern California and one from Seattle so it was nice to catch up and for everyone to get to meet each other before the wedding weekend too. We did party hard one night but the rest of the time we had awesome pool time!
