If you’re looking to get married in Maine, you may want to check out Tops’l Farm. Not only is it an incredible event venue with a renovated barn, acres of endless fields and cabins in the woods but it serves as a peaceful retreat space for many.
You can choose to book the venue for the day only or buyout the whole property for the weekend to host all sorts of wedding festivities. With animals, gardens and their own private lake, Tops’l Farm has been the top choice for a lot of our couples and you’re about to see why!

The Venue
As you can see on the sign, the property has many amazing trails, gardens, barns and cabins to explore. Robby and Shane got ready in one of the cute a-frame cabins and did their first look photos in the woods. Then, they walked around the property to get some gorgeous couple portraits in the wildflower fields.
The Outdoor Ceremony
If weather permits, we always encourage our couples to have an outdoor ceremony. We love that Tops’l Farm has many options for ceremony spots but this gorgeous tree was the top choice for all.
Our grooms chose to walk down together which is something we’re seeing a lot more these days particularly with our LGBTQ+ couples and we’re loving it!
Cocktails & Details
After the ceremony, the grooms and their guests made their way up to the barn lawn for cocktails, lawn games and appetizers. Let’s take a peek inside the barn at the cozy details for the reception.
Each dinner table was tastefully decorated with local wildflowers in bud vases and bottles of wine. Truly, what else do you need? If you scroll down you’ll see our very own planner, Jessica who coordinated this wedding.
Desserts & Dancing
The dinner went on without a hitch because Tops’l Farm does all their catering and rentals in-house (bonus!). The couple did want to bring in a specialty desserts of Holy Donuts which is allowed and was an absolute treat for guests.
After dinner and toasts, the venue team lit the outdoor fire pits and the DJ opened up the dance floor! Desserts and drinks were had and the grooms and their guests had an absolute blast.
